The Department of History at Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him), in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, organized a symposium on the military institution and its role in the Islamic caliphate, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Rahim and attended by a number of professors and students of the college.
The symposium included the presentation of a research paper by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Kazem entitled The Role of the Military Institution in the Fatimid Caliphate.
While the assistant professor, Dr. Salsabil Jaber, presented an overview of the historical roots of the army in the early days of Islam.
